The Ordinariate Members of East Tennessee are celebrating as a group their first Mass according to Divine Worship: The Missal on September 11.
The Mass for Trinity XIII Sunday is held at the St. Joseph's School Chapel, 1810 Howard Dr. in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Confessions begin at 4:15 p.m. followed by the rosary. Then a Divine Worship Mass follows at 5 p.m. with sacred music provided by the Schola of St. John Henry Newman.
The Ordinariate Members of East Tennessee have a mission to evangelize one of the most Protestant areas of North America, and believe the Ordinariate's Anglican patrimony, particularly with its liturgy and rich emphasis on Sacred Scripture, will resonate with Christians who treasure the King James Bible.
