Given that The St. Peter’s Rambler has not been updated for some time, we wanted to give a formal update for those who had been reading it regularly.
The St. Peter's Rambler is undergoing some big changes, following the ACS board of directors meeting in July. The ACS board voted to allocate the funds to restart The St. Peter's Rambler as a monthly publication with a new, professional layout. We encourage you to become an ACS member, if you have not already, since ACS members' support is what makes building up these endeavors possible.
Moving from a weekly to monthly publication schedule will also allow volunteers greater flexibility to assemble the publication consistently than the original weekly schedule.
We're excited about the next chapter of The St. Peter's Rambler, which will have a target release of Oct. 9, the memorial of St. John Henry Newman. We look forward to The St. Peter's Rambler continuing to show the variety of communities in the North American Ordinariate, and the fantastic work being done by these communities to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and form men and women into the missionary disciples that Pope Francis is calling for.
The Ordinariates and the Anglican patrimony are wonderful gifts to the Catholic Church, and the ACS exists to share that good news. We want to acknowledge those whose assistance to Jackson Perry, the St. Peter's Rambler volunteer editor, in various ways helped the St. Peter's Rambler get its first start as a newsletter. These include Dianna and Ryan Gabbard, Joshua Johnson, Fr. Stephen Hilgendorf, Dr. Clinton Brand, Fr. Jonathan Erdman, Deborah Gyapong, David Lewis, Edel Lukens, Nick Behrens, Fr. Gregory Tipton, Paul Campbell, John Covert, and Peter Smith. Finally, we want to thank Bishop Steven J. Lopes for his tireless service to the North American Ordinariate.
We look forward to the next stage of The St. Peter's Rambler coming Oct. 9.
