The mission of the Anglicanorum Coetibus Society is to promote the Anglican tradition and common identity within the Catholic Church in order to share the Gospel, educate men and women in the beauty of the Catholic faith, and form disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.
We offer independent and loyal support to the Ordinariates for the Anglican tradition established under Pope Benedict XVI’s 2009 Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum coetibus.
We foster communion among Ordinariate Catholics worldwide.
We evangelize by encouraging the development of Catholic communities gathered for prayer and fellowship in our Anglican tradition. (See our map listing service)
We promote thinking, discussing, informing, educating, writing and publishing on the entire span of the Anglican patrimony united to the Catholic Church through the Ordinariates — liturgical, intellectual, pastoral, spiritual, theological, literary, artistic, musical and social.
The opinions of contributors here are their own and not those of the Anglicanorum Coetibus Society or the Ordinariates.
We encourage full active participation of lay members of the Ordinariates to build up the Body of Christ.
We embody the ecumenical spirit of the Ordinariates by reaching out to other Christians who are also custodians of the Anglican patrimony, encouraging them to participate fully in our activities and to become members of the ACS.
We publish high quality papers in Shared Treasure, our academic journal.
We have created a community hub to provide educational resources, commentary, Ordinariate-related news, podcasts and discussion through our website and social media channels. The opinions of contributors here are their own and not those of the Anglicanorum Coetibus Society or the Ordinariates.
We organize conferences where evangelists, theologians, historians, liturgists, etc., can share their expertise with the Ordinariates, foster constructive exchange and build community.
We encourage the composition or adaptation of music for the Divine Worship liturgy.
