Liturgical Arts Journal, which has done such exceptional work in recent years to highlight artistic achievements in service to the beauty of the Church’s sacred liturgy, has posted a write-up on the Anglican patrimony and the liturgical services at our 2019 Conference on the Anglican Tradition in the Catholic Church.
Founded in 2017 by Shawn Tribe, who had previously founded the well-known New Liturgical Movement, LAJ seeks to focus on all the liturgical arts, including architecture, vestments, ceremonial, and liturgical books. But it also focuses on sacred music, something that was particularly highlighted at our conference. An appreciate of sacred music of course is harder to convey through the blog medium and requires the dedication of sufficient time to watch videos online. LAJ has published
this article, which as Shawn writes “details some information about the liturgical patrimony of the Anglican Ordinariate, set within the context of a conference they held in Toronto late last year,” in the wake of full videos of our conference liturgies being uploaded to both YouTube and Facebook. Those videos are also fully subtitled in both formats, and can be
found here on our website.
