The Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter is now one of the latest U.S. dioceses that has adopted the Flocknote email and text service in order to communicate directly with the faithful.
This development was confirmed by the Ordinariate chancery using Flocknote to send out Bishop Steven Lopes's Christmas message to the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, a Latin Rite Catholic diocese with Anglican traditions that covers North America.
"May our loving God, who gladdens us with the yearly remembrance of the birth of His Only Begotten Son, grant you joy and peace in the contemplation of this divine mystery," read the Dec. 25 message from the bishop, accompanying a video in which Bishop Lopes spoke about the meaning of Emmanuel "God with us" in light of the 2020 pandemic year.
Prior to this 2020 Christmas message, the Ordinariate's chancery had integrated Ordinariate parishes already using Flocknote into their own Flocknote system.

The Ordinariate's chancery sent out the Flocknote message to people on its email list for the Ordinariate Observer. You can sign up for the Ordinariate's Flocknotes here.
