As Time after Epiphany draws to a close and we move into Septuagesima, these past few weeks have been marked by the increased adoption of the Office Book, events marking the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, and preparation for the approaching Lenten season. This issue will touch on these things, along with an Epiphanytide event at OLSJ, news from St. John the Baptist, and more. In addition, we’ve also included William Percy’s famous poem, which is being sung at many parishes this week due to the Sunday Gospel, and an interesting excerpt from Card. Manning on the action of the Holy Spirit in the Church of England.
Due to some conflicts, the schedule for the newsletter has been sporadic since Christmas. There should be no foreseeable interruptions for the next few months.
Would you consider writing a Parish Profile? Is there a ministry, good work, or event you’d like others to know about? Would you help excerpt passages? Email [email protected] to tell us more. Thank you to all the contributors this week.
